Gubi Olsen, who graduated from “the Permanent Exhibition of Danish Crafts and Arts”, has always pushed the boundaries to explore new directions in design. Always with a global outlook he has created his own unique post-modernistic expression. The inspiration comes from the rich Danish tradition of craft and furniture production, mixed with historical and visual references such as, French cinema, Napoleon Bonaparte and a grand piano.

Y! Dining Table by Henning Larsen Architects

The Y! Dining Table is notable both for the simplicity of its form and its construction; it is functional, thoughtful and contemporary. Designed without architraves around the tabletop edge, the elegant steel table leg is angled towards the centre of the top, creating the illusion that the tabletop is floating.

TS Column – Dining Table

The TS Column Table is with its characteristic slender metal legs and crossing detailing, unified to a centred column, a decorative table specifically designed for the outstanding restaurant Flora Danica at Maison du Danemark in Paris. As this magnificent space, the table represents Scandinavian minimalism with global gracefulness.

Aoyama Dining Table

Aoyama, a neighbourhood in Tokyo known for its fashion houses, restaurants and shopping, is where the Danish-French designer Paul Leroy found inspiration for his Aoyama Table series. The nearly transparent base column in laser-cut steel plate, giving the table it’s visual lightness and characteristic traits, supports the round table top of either a dining table or lounge table in a range of sizes.

Moon Dining Table by Space Copenhagen

Space Copenhagen is the designer behind the classic Moon Dining Table; a series of organic rounded tables for both domestic and public spaces. The interplay between the beautiful solid oak table top and the smooth half – or full moon shaped base, with bevelled surface, serving as structure and ornament, creates a simple yet strong identity for the design.

GUBI 2.0 Dining Table

The GUBI 2.0 Table by GUBI is made of the finest materials contributing to its unique and exclusive identity. With its circular or elliptical shape, the table celebrates the authentic way of bringing people together and enables an intimate interaction whether it is for dinners, meetings or relaxed socialisation.

GUBI Dining Table – Elliptical by Komplot Design

The GUBI Dining Table is a beautiful couple with the iconic GUBI 3D Chair, as this round and organic table holds much of the same design language and aesthetics as the classic veneer chair. Komplot’s warm and wooden table will most likely compliment any chair, due to its sleek and classic expression.
